Alongside this, I bring more than 15 years’ corporate leadership experience in private equity and accountancy. I am an FCA with ICAEW and my experience covers all aspects of the Investor Relations and Finance Function within a large firm managing more than $15bn of assets. What drove my success as Head of Finance in this challenging, high pressure environment was my ability to communicate across the business, build connections and get the best from the people around me to deliver for investors. By using both my IQ and EQ to maximum effect, I developed a leadership style that successfully challenged the status quo, drove change and increased my team’s commercial impact. Above all, I loved leading a large team and spending time understanding who I had working for me, what made them special and how we could maximise their potential both as an employee and for their future career.
